Description

QUALIFICATIONS BY JANUARY OR APRIL 2026 ARE INVITED TO APPLY.

Upon completion of a two-year training program that involves field experience and advanced theoretical and practical courses, you
will install, maintain and repair all types of protective relaying (line, generator, transformer, etc.), control metering, and recording
systems. Successful applicants are required to work and may be stationed at various locations throughout the province.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A diploma from an accredited Electrical Engineering Technology program or equivalent certification as an Electrical Engineer
    accredited by the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists (CCTT) or equivalent certification as an Engineering
    Technologist with the Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM); or equivalency through a

World Education Services (WES) Credential Evaluation Report

  • Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s Licence (intermediate or full) or equivalent.
  • Capable of interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • High degree of mechanical ability.
  • Aptitude for technical skills involving computer, electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Accurate colour perception.
  • Physically capable of performing all the duties of the position.
  • Willing to relocate to various locations within Manitoba.
