THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Protective Intelligence Analyst to join our security team. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential threats to executives, employees, operations, and assets through comprehensive intelligence gathering and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in threat intelligence, OSINT, risk analysis, and protective operations support.

THE SKILLSET

  • You’ll need at least five years of professional experience, ideally in a mission-critical environment, with a background in intelligence, insider threat, executive protection, or related security disciplines.
  • Demonstrable fluency in OSINT principles is essential, including data sourcing, online sentiment monitoring, ethical considerations, and operational security. This also includes a proven ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from diverse sources (including the dark web) to produce actionable intelligence.
  • You should have extensive experience collecting, synthesizing, and streamlining large, complex datasets into clear, concise, and impactful intelligence deliverables. This includes understanding the intelligence cycle, and proficiency in creating and distributing regular intelligence reports and communicating findings through written reports and verbal briefings for various audiences, including senior leadership.
  • A thorough grasp of adversary tools, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) is crucial, along with a keen understanding of how these threats impact the corporate environment and the local through global threat landscape’s evolving impact on personnel, assets, and business operations.
  • Experience in conducting comprehensive security risk assessments, particularly for travel and events, including identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • The ability to contribute to and support incident response efforts and expertise in proactive threat detection through regular monitoring of social media, forums, and other platforms for threats or mentions related to personnel, assets, or executives.
  • Proficiency in leveraging current technologies, cloud environments, and relevant analytic tools and methods for effective intelligence analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain regular contact with internal and external teams, clearly summarizing complex threats and risks.
  • Proactively identify and assess emerging threats and contribute to the development of new protective intelligence strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement protective intelligence strategies
  • Analyze threat assessments and risk analysis for executive travel, both domestic and international.
  • Ensure security protocols align with current threat intelligence and geopolitical risks impacting executive travel.
  • Public Event Security & Risk Mitigation
  • Assist with security planning and risk assessment for corporate events, industry conferences, and public engagements.
  • Ensure real-time incident reporting, investigation, and resolution, leveraging vendor resources.
  • Conduct post-incident analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance future security measures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with law enforcement, intelligence entities, and global security partners to enhance security and intelligence posture.
