POSITION SUMMARY:

The Tooling: Prototype and CNC Mill/EDM Specialist is responsible to support the Toolroom and Manufacturing by creating fixtures, prototypes or samples of potential new products for customers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

. AS degree in Engineering Technology desired or equivalent work experience
. One year minimum of manufacturing experience
. Sheet metal experience desired
. ERP System experience desired
. Green Belt desired
. 3D CAD experience (Solidworks desired)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Assists with new product development for samples, prototypes and tooling.
. Works with weld fixtures, pin gauges, one-hit dimple dies, and other welding support.
. Operates machines as needed.
. Design tooling and fixtures utilizing CAD-CAM/Solidworks software
. Operate CNC and EDM machines to support the Tool Room and Manufacturing needs
. Support other tooling projects as needed.

. As a member of the Quality Management System, quality procedures, requirements, work instructions, and other required documentation must be followed.
