YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related field and 1 year of experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment related to Prototype assembly.
  • Proven problem-solving ability.
  • Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication ability (written & verbal).
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.
Responsibilities
  • Design processes and CNC-based programs for machines to create physical objects (i.e. parts, work pieces, tools, racks, etc.) from virtual (CAD) data, in production and quality assurance area.
  • Execute programming or program documentation, maintenance, optimization for new parts or work pieces, for a variety of processing machines.
  • Elaborate concepts for optimizing the product quality and economics in the tooling process (including process analyses, evaluation, development of a target concept and implementation).
  • Support or participate in the selection of machines, tool tests, and preparation of invest decisions in cooperation with Engineers and accountable management.
  • Provide support for optimized tooling workflow, or support CNC Operations Technicians or Machine Operators to use machines or programs effectively.
  • Coordinate new development of machining and correction procedures and supervise implementation in production, if required.
  • Create and manage Prototype manufacturing process plans as well as equipment and tooling procurement for all existing and new Prototype projects.
  • Support all phases of development and manufacturing of prototypes to ensure part quality and process capability is met.
  • Coordinate with production and product development departments for proposed prototype product design and/or processing changes and improvements.
  • Document prototype manufacturing and development summaries, process flow diagrams and improvements in technical report form.
