JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Prototype Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge, be mechanically inclined and has previous hands-on experience in various manufacturing processes. This role involves operating machinery, ensuring quality control, and assembling components to meet production standards. The Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations while adhering to safety protocols.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience with reading blueprints/drawings and solidworks
• Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during production tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience in welding is mandatory*

ROLES

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to 5S Principals at their work area
• Demonstrates good attendance and punctuality
• Must possess attention to detail skills
• Building tables/fixtures for all plants or any equipment that they might possibly need for health and safety projects or maintenance projects
• When building prototypes look after the project from start to finish, from fabrication to complete assembly
• Must be capable of reading blueprints and also able to work with 3D models
• Must be a team player, work with engineers in regards to configuring the prototype, diagnosing any issues
• Assist in training the production workers on how to make units once the prototype is utilized in Production, for the first time
