Description
Manage vehicle instrumentation installation at Roush 9 and New Model Programs Development Center (NMPDC) to support build and post-build instrumentation needs. Work seamlessly with onsite Ford team and Roush coordination and planning to ensure units are properly prepared and prepped correctly to satisfy customer instrumentation and mechanical needs. Drive quality through process improvements and requestor feedback loop. Support instrumentation interview process for requestors to ensure all requirements are accurately captured in the Instrumentation Requirements List (IRL). Support Rest of World (FOA, China, FOE, FOM, Brazil) instrumentation needs and develop work plan to contain at R9. Work to improve onsite instrumentation processes globally. Investigate and make recommendations for new technologies and processes for instrumentation and garage services. Manage the IMaster instrumentation planning and web-based tool and process and support the IRL database. Review and approve incoming work orders in VDO to ensure timely delivery of requests. Support DV efficiency and VEV Lean workstreams. Associates Degree in Science, Automotive, or relevant field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of instrumentation experience in an automotive domain.
