As a Prove Design Mechanic you may work on functional areas including, but not limited to, product design, development, research, quality & reliability, materials, manufacturing process, application and installation, product performance/support, service, and facilities. Additional Info: Shift: Regular Work Location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau. Job Type: 12 months contract. This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office. Travel Requirement: 10% (domestic) You will work in an office and shop floor environment. Domestic relocation is not available for this position. As the Prove Design Mechanic, you will: Perform design of simple parts. Uses mechanical knowledge address technical problem in production line related to product design. Follows specified directions, schematics, and work orders to run tests, collect data, and diagnose issues in manufacturing line. Create simple technical work instruction to support production line. Communicate with cross-functional team, including global partners. Performs Engineering proof designs or test fit ups. The successful candidate must bring (basic qualifications): College or university degree in a Mechanical/manufacturing engineering-related discipline. Fresh graduate bachelor/diploma degree are welcomed. Thorough understanding of Mechanical engineering drawings/designs. Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance) interpretation. Good communications skills, both written and oral. Ability to work with diverse teams of employees. Top candidates will also bring: Mechanical engineering tools (Creo, Solid works, Catia, Inventor) proficiency. Having experience in Fabrication/assembly/Heavy manufacturing process. Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
