Primary Responsibilities: Help manage provider data and maintain and improve databases Reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses Help develop/maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance Coordinate corrective activities to clean databases and retain users Manage communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements Assist in audits and data quality improvement initiatives Get ready for some significant challenge. You'll work on technical projects that require you to perform as a consultant, supporting implementation, loading contracts and troubleshooting non-standard automation piece You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 2+ years of experience in the health care industry 2+ years of claims/data entry experience 1+ years of prior customer service experience Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel Intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending and reporting on metrics Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate degree 2+ years of medical coding experience Proficiency in MS Access and PowerPoint Proficiency in medical terminology *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
