Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval. What You’ll Be Doing: Provides support of BWC’s healthcare delivery model by educating and supporting clinicians who treat workers’ compensation patients. Troubleshoot individual claim issues resulting from the care-management process. Develops strategies for recruiting, maintaining, and improving the collective performance of BWC-certified providers. Completes reports, monitors compliance, acts as healthcare policy expert in matters when warranted. Participates in vendor fairs and speaking engagements with partners and providers in medical communities as it relates to discussing BWC’s healthcare delivery system. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in nursing. 3 – 5 years’ clinical experience in a hospital, urgent care, or medical practice setting. 5 – 7 years’ experience with reviewing and resolving issues related to workers’ compensation claims. 5 – 7 years’ experience with educating medical professionals. This position is overtime exempt THIS POSITION IS UNCLASSIFIED PERSUANT TO ORC 124.11(A)(9)
