ABOUT THE ROLE The Provider Relations Coordinator (Clinical Support Liaison) serves as the primary patient coordination and communication link between IVX Health and partner accounts (Health Systems, Hospitals and Group Practices), fostering strong relationships with providers and care teams. This role ensures seamless patient care transitions by managing the timely exchange of medical records and securing all necessary documentation for authorizations. The liaison collaborates with internal departments to streamline referral processes, minimize delays, and enhance patient experience. Additionally, they partner with Business Development Managers to support account planning, customer satisfaction, and growth initiatives while providing clinical insights and managing communication with assigned accounts. RESPONSIBILITIES Referring Provider Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurses, case managers, and administrative staff across health systems, hospitals, and group practices. Serve as the main point of contact for partner inquiries and escalations, addressing issues with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. Use EMR portals such as Epic, Athena, and other integrated systems to facilitate communication and complete documentation exchanges efficiently. Patient Continuity of Care Facilitate timely transfer of clinical records and information between partner accounts and IVX teams. Secure all required documentation needed to support patient authorizations and ensure continuity of care. Manage a panel of patients across assigned accounts, overseeing the referral lifecycle and ensuring smooth transitions from referral to treatment. Coordinate with internal teams to streamline workflows, reduce delays, and support consistent patient appointments and treatment timelines. Customer Satisfaction Collaborate with Business Development Managers to understand account needs and support strategies that strengthen satisfaction and retention. Provide clinical insights during account planning discussions and identify opportunities for improved processes or growth. Work closely with internal teams, including Prior Authorization, Pre-Registration, Business Development, and Field Operations, to ensure alignment and support seamless operations. Manage assigned accounts while providing coverage or support to additional markets as needed. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Competencies and Skills Demonstrated excellence in internal and external customer service, supporting physicians, nurses, and administrative partners with professionalism, clarity, and responsiveness. Strong understanding of common clinical terminology and documentation standards, with the ability to assess whether records are complete and sufficient to support authorization requirements. Experienced in reviewing and interpreting updated clinical documentation, verifying accuracy, and ensuring all required elements are present for payer submission. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of productivity, accuracy, and communication. Communicates clearly and professionally in verbal and written formats, adjusting style for clinicians, internal teams, and external partners. Highly reliable with strong follow through and ownership of responsibilities across assigned accounts. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail, especially when reviewing documentation, identifying missing elements, and communicating next steps. Required Certification, Education, Licensure, and Experience High school diploma or GED Required; associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, ideally involving care coordination, referral management, infusion workflows, or prior authorization processes. Clinical background is not required, but strong clinical literacy is essential. Must be comfortable interpreting medical terminology, reviewing clinical notes, and identifying required documentation needed for authorization workflows. Familiarity with healthcare operations, regulatory considerations, and patient engagement expectations. Proficiency using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Athena, or similar platforms; ability to navigate clinical documentation and extract relevant information. Ability to navigate internal business intelligence reporting systems (Tableau, Power BI) Experience working within multi-site healthcare services, hospital systems, group practices or similar environments preferred. Pay is based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and is benchmarked against similar organizations in our size and industry. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted range, as compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
