As a self-directed practitioner with strong communication skills, the Provincial Clinical Standards educator supports the Clinical Standards & Professional Practice priorities for safe and appropriate clinical practice in the SHA through alignment, collaboration, and partnership. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Experience in project management: leading, planning, implementation & evaluation Minimum 5 years clinical experience in nursing Minimum 3 years recent experience in a clinical nurse educator role Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Willing to complete additional training as required Experience in a clinical leadership role preferred Competencies Advanced - Communication skills Basic - Organizational skills Analytical skills Basic - Leadership skills Advanced - Interpersonal skills Basic - Computer skills Problem solving skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of regulatory body requirements in policy/procedure development Knowledge in adult education principles, methods and tools Ability to build and maintain relationships based on open communication.
