This position is open to qualified candidates in Clinical Haematology. You will provide both routine and urgent medical assessment and clinical care to patients screened & participating in clinical trials as a certified Investigator within Concord Haematology’s Clinical Research Unit (CRU). Additional responsibilities and learning opportunities include database management, participation in the process of ethics submissions, in particular providing medical input to administrative staff in these submissions, educating clinical trial coordinators and haematology nursing on new therapies and good clinical practice and fostering cross referral of patients to clinical research units across NSW.
Opportunities are available to develop your own research projects including enrolment in a higher research degree if desired. Fellows are encouraged to develop an area of research interest and to present at local, state and national meetings where appropriate.
The role is ideally full time. With appropriate prior clinical research experience, a part time role would be considered.
