  • Proven experience of working in a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.
  • Evidence of appropriate qualifications relevant to the position.
  • Experience in cardiovascular research.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational skills, ability to manage competing priorities and flexibility to adapt to change, with proven ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to present.
  • Familiarity with research concepts and commitment to supporting basic, applied or clinical research as required within each sub-specialty.
  • Demonstrated interest in genetic heart disease desired
Responsibilities

The Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital Genetic Heart Disease Fellowship position has been designed to increase the throughput of the genetic heart disease program including expanding our clinical research capacity and recruitment of families for genetic heart disease research including new gene discovery, clinical trials in genetic heart disease and prevention of sudden cardiac death.
