SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Full clean drivers licence & own car essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in block management /facilities management.
  • Knowledge of building regulations & compliance / mandatory related duties
  • Have strong self-management, organisational and administration skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a client or customer facing role.
  • Ability to prioritise with good problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Have dealt with the implementation of systems and service strategies.
  • Ensure efficient, reliable, high-quality deployment of site maintenance and utility operations.
  • Establish and manage relationship with contractors to ensure quality and compliance of works in line with company policy and guidelines.
  • Must have strong financial awareness to manage facilities management budgets across a number of sites.
  • Excellent awareness and quality management of Health & Safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a relevant qualification aligned to Facilities Management, and a demonstrable record of continuous personal development within the industry.
  • Must have excellent IT skills and systems software experience.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE / LOCATION

  • Excellent opportunity to work with the Leading PRS Management Team in Dublin for one of Savills’ Key International Clients.
  • We are seeking an experienced Block Manager to take ownership of a flagship, high-end residential development in North Dublin, complete with on-site amenities, while also supporting two additional developments in North and South Dublin on behalf of a single, valued client.
  • You will liaise with the on-site General Manager, Savills Block Management Team and external service providers to ensure the development is successfully operational.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tender, procure, and manage the Operational Expenditure (OpEx) budget.
