The Department of Public Safety Communications and Emergency Management [https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Departments/PSCEM] (PSCEM) is hiring an experienced emergency communications professional to provide department-level leadership for the planning, coordination, and oversight of technology systems supporting PSCEM operations and the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) for the position of PSCEM Systems Manager. The ECC provides assistance to the public by receiving and processing 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls; and dispatching police, fire, and emergency medical service units in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner. The PSCEM Systems Manager ensures that the ECC systems, as well as related public safety technology platforms used across PSCEM divisions and facilities, are aligned, interoperable, secure, and capable of supporting multiple missions and operational locations.
