Day Shift Fitter - Canning Vale Orora's Cans business is growing! With rising demand across Australia, New Zealand, and Oceania we are excited to welcome our next team member to our Canning Vale plant.   The Role Reporting into the Engineering Lead and working alongside of your fellow Day Shift Fitters from Monday to Friday, 6.45am-3.15pm your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  On-going maintenance of machinery, equipment and services, to assist in meeting or exceeding site objectives (Production, Quality, Spoilage). Actively pursuing mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and improve plant uptime. Demonstrates an exemplary safety ethic, leading by example and setting standards for the health, safety and wellbeing. Drive a high-quality standards and culture.   What We’re Looking For Mechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred. Experience in high-speed Manufacturing, 24/7 production environments (3-5+ years) Maintenance experience, preventative maintenance planning and corrective maintenance systems Ability to troubleshoot control systems and mechanical faults on equipment. A good understanding of mechanical systems, motors, pumps, conveyors, compressors, air systems. Team player with a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills Be able to meet requirements of Orora’s pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing   If you're a reliable fitter who knows their stuff and wants steady work with a great team, we want to hear from you.
