As part of the Office of Ethics and PSEAH Office of Ethics and Prevention (OEP), the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH) Unit leads IOM’s work to combat sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment in coordination with offices and missions across IOM and counterparts throughout the United Nations (UN), Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC), and humanitarian community. The PSEAH Unit’s strategy focuses on strengthening leadership and organizational culture; institutional accountability and transparency; training and outreach; victim assistance; and partnership and coordination.  Under the direct supervision of the IOM PSEAH Sr Governance & Protection Officer (Regional PSEAH Officer) in Nairobi, and in close coordination with the Sub-Regional Director and the Senior Coordinator PSEAH at Headquarters (HQ), the PSEAH Officer will play a key role in supporting the integration of PSEAH across the East, Horn and Southern Africa Region, with a focus on the Southern Africa Sub-Region. The PSEAH Officer will support the application of global PSEAH-related policies, guidance, and tools are fully integrated within IOM Offices, programming, operations, and administration, and amongst partners and affected populations, and ensure that best practices and resources are shared widely. PSEAH Officer will hold the following responsibilities:
