Our client, a leading payment solutions provider, is seeking a PSP Onboarding Manager to oversee the full merchant onboarding cycle — ensuring a seamless, compliant, and efficient transition from sales handover to live payment processing. This is a key role that connects Sales, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Operations to ensure all merchants meet regulatory standards and are positioned for long-term success. Key Responsibilities Lead and optimize the end-to-end merchant onboarding process, from documentation collection to account activation. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Technical teams to ensure efficient onboarding workflows. Review and validate KYC/KYB and due diligence documentation, escalating risk or compliance issues where necessary. Coordinate internal approvals and sign-offs for new merchant accounts. Oversee merchant configuration, MID setup, and payment gateway integrations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Track and report key onboarding metrics (average completion time, drop-offs, satisfaction scores). Maintain an outstanding merchant experience through proactive communication and support. Identify and implement process improvements and automation in collaboration with the product and tech teams. Support the expansion into new jurisdictions and product lines, aligning processes with local regulations. Ensure full compliance with AML/CFT and PCI DSS requirements. Train and mentor junior onboarding specialists or analysts. Key Requirements 1–2 years of experience in merchant onboarding, client operations, or compliance within a PSP, Acquirer, or FinTech environment. Strong understanding of payment flows, acquirer relationships, and transaction monitoring. Excellent coordination and multitasking abilities across cross-functional teams. High attention to detail and strong documentation skills. Effective communication and client-facing abilities. Familiarity with CRM or onboarding tools (e.g., Salesforce or proprietary PSP systems). Analytical and process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Nice to Have Experience in industries such as iGaming, Crypto, or Forex. Understanding of European, UK, or UAE regulatory environments. Exposure to API integrations or payment gateway setups. Success Metrics Reduction in average onboarding time. High merchant satisfaction post-onboarding. Zero compliance or regulatory breaches. Improved coordination across departments.
