We currently only seeking applicants who are able and willing to commit to a Full-Time PSSA position that is dedicated to servicing Tech Suites (Operating Theatres) on a set roster of Mon to Friday 11.00 to 19.06 About Royal Adelaide Hospital As South Australia’s pre-eminent health facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) is dedicated to delivering world-class care and innovation in healthcare. You will ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, complete detailed and accurate incident reports, and contribute to a calm, professional, and supportive security presence within the hospital.   What you'll do: * Set up Tech Suites for surgeries and procedures, ensuring Tech Suites, equipment, and consumables are prepared and ready for use. * Ensure Tech Suites are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition at all times, in accordance with organisational and infection control standards. * Support nursing and clinical staff with non-clinical tasks during procedures within Tech Suites to promote efficient workflow. * Assist clinical staff in positioning / transfers of patients, and preparation before and after procedures, in line with manual handling guidelines and safety protocols. * Facilitate safe and timely patient movement within Tech Suites and between departments as required. * Adhere to infection prevention and control policies, including hand hygiene, appropriate use of PPE, and environmental cleaning requirements. * Work collaboratively with nursing, medical, allied health, and support services staff to ensure smooth and efficient Tech Suite operations. * Report incidents, hazards, and near misses promptly in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. * Commit to continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on quality, patient safety, and service efficiency.     What you'll bring: * Mentally and physically competency with strong cognitive common-sense processing to offer the understanding of your position in a multi faced sensitive environment. * Previous healthcare or Patient Support Services Tech Suite experience is desirable but not essential. * Competent English reading and writing skills for safe and accurate task completion. * Positive, flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt to changing priorities. * Strong teamwork and communication skills with a compassionate attitude towards patients and families. * Well-presented, reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous improvement and quality service delivery.
