PSV MECHANIC - TAMWORTH - Mid Shift 10:00 - 19:00 Mon to Fri.
Working on a wide and varied fleet, mostly euro 6 from 8 to 80 seater buses and coaches. Working in a modern well equipped workshop, you will be responsible for clearance of daily defects, PSV inspections to DVSA standards, carry out repairs to the required standards, preparation of PSV vehicles for annual MOT, diagnostics, servicing and general repairs. You will be part of a small team, reporting to the Transport Manager and working alongside our maintenance contractors and third party agents such as parts suppliers, electricians, tyre companies, mechanical engineers and workshops.
You will be time served and experienced with an eye for detail and a can do attitude. Completion of paperwork and records to the required standard is an essential part of this role. Previous PSV experience is essential for this role. A PSV licence is advantageous for this role, as some off site work may be required, for example brake testing or MOT presentation.
The hours of work are normally Monday to Friday 10:00 to 19:00 with overtime available if desired.
