Are you an experienced PSV Technician looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled and reliable PSV Technician to join our team in Morecambe, offering a competitive salary between £40,000 and £45,000 per year.
As a PSV Technician for our national bus company, you will play a key role in ensuring that our fleet of buses and coaches is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a PSV Technician or in a similar heavy vehicle maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in buses and coaches.
  • Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) in vehicle maintenance.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
  • A valid driving license (preferably with a Category D entitlement, though not essential).
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a fleet of buses and coaches.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across a variety of systems.
  • Carry out inspections to ensure all vehicles meet safety and operational standards.
  • Work on systems including engines, suspension, braking, and electrical components.
  • Accurately record all work completed, including parts used, and ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain an efficient and effective operation.
