Supports the day-to-day needs and development of the unit staff acting as a role model and mentor Provides secondary consultation at consumer clinical reviews and ward rounds as necessary Develops and maintains effective linkages to ensure optimal continuity of care between other parts of the service including Community Teams, Emergency Department, housing and other area mental health services, whilst supporting and upskilling junior staff to do the same. Demonstrated experience and skills in the provision of a comprehensive range of nursing interventions for people experiencing serious mental illness and complex needs Classifications for this position will range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4 NP75 - NP77 ($110,801 - $119,324 per annum pro rata) Your Contribution Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in mental health Current Victorian driver’s license Minimum 5 years demonstrated clinical leadership experience in adult, older persons, and/or community mental health service provision Proficiency in practicing in line with Recovery-oriented practice and Trauma-Informed Care principles.
