OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality mental health care to patients across various settings, including outpatient clinics and inpatient facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:

  • Experience in behavioral health and psychiatric nursing is essential.
  • Familiarity with medical office operations, including CPT coding and medical documentation processes.
  • Experience working with adolescence.
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience administering injections are required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, or youth care.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and behavioral management strategies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must meet all state/federal background check and training requirements.
