POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in assessing and managing the mental health needs of residents in long-term care settings. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compassionate, effective care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MSN in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing
• Current DEA registration and experience with psychotropic medication management
• Passion for serving aging and vulnerable populations in residential care settings

• ✅ Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and physical assessments
• ✅ Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
• ✅ Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• ✅ Collaborate with facility staff, therapists, and consulting psychiatrists
• ✅ Provide expert mental health care tailored to geriatric and subacute populations
