OVERVIEW

My client needs 2 Part Time Licensed Psych Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) to assess, treat and prescribe medication to Behavioral Health patients within a Clinic Facility. Located in Johnstown PA. Great team and place to work.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in areas such as triage, patient assessment, medication administration, and acute care management.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in various settings including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or outpatient care is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology and behavioral health practices is essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
