Responsibilities/Job Description:
Fairview Range is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for our Behavioral Health Department in Hibbing, MN.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible 24 hour a day medical care of patients on the Behavioral Health inpatient units.

• Fairview Range Hospital is located in Hibbing, Minnesota.
• 34 bed inpatient behavioral health unit.
• 7 on/7 off schedule with generous, paid vacation, sick leave, and CME days! Hard to find this combination anywhere.
• Daily staffing model is 1 Psychiatrist and 2 NPs. Team-based care with opportunities for advancement and growth.
• Average daily census per NP is 8 patients.
• Day call is shared amongst team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in advanced practice nursing.
• One year of progressive clinical nursing experience with primary care management of patient population with psychiatric disease.
• Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license from MN Board of Nursing. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Three to five years of progressive clinical nursing experience with primary care management of patient population with psychiatric disease.
• Doctorate degree in advanced practice nursing.

  Qualifications:
  $130,000 - $145,000 annual salary

• Clinical Excellence & Comprehensive Case Management Delivering safe, comprehensive care with a holistic approach, encompassing the assessment and management of a specific patient demographic under the guidance of a supervising physician.
• Using autonomous decision-making abilities for assessment, diagnosis, and the implementation of medical interventions in accordance with the nursing practice standards.
• Demonstrating expertise in psychiatric disease management, pharmacology, and patient education, showcasing specialized knowledge and skill in these critical areas
