Fairview Range is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for our Behavioral Health Department in Hibbing, MN.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible 24 hour a day medical care of patients on the Behavioral Health inpatient units.

  • Fairview Range Hospital is located in Hibbing, Minnesota.
  • 34 bed inpatient behavioral health unit.
  • 7 on/7 off schedule with generous, paid vacation, sick leave, and CME days! Hard to find this combination anywhere.
  • Daily staffing model is 1 Psychiatrist and 2 NPs. Team-based care with opportunities for advancement and growth.
  • Average daily census per NP is 8 patients.
  • Day call is shared amongst team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in advanced practice nursing.
  • One year of progressive clinical nursing experience with primary care management of patient population with psychiatric disease.
  • Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license from MN Board of Nursing. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three to five years of progressive clinical nursing experience with primary care management of patient population with psychiatric disease.
  • Doctorate degree in advanced practice nursing.
