We are a physician-owned practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate psychiatric care. We build meaningful, long-term relationships with our patients, and our providers are supported to deliver thoughtful, unhurried care at every visit. This position offers the opportunity to provide outpatient psychiatric services while also participating in weekly Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) rounds, performing new psychiatric consultations and follow-up visits for residents. Provide direct psychiatric patient care across the lifespan, as credentialed. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and formulate differential diagnoses and individualized treatment plans. Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic tests as clinically indicated. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications while monitoring patient response and outcomes. Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, families, and community resources. Participate in weekly Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) rounds, providing new psychiatric consultations and ongoing follow-up care for residents. Document thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure exceptional patient care. Requirements Education Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Licensure Current, active, unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner license Current DEA registration (may obtain while being hired) Experience Two (2) or more years of psychiatric experience preferred (strong new graduates are encouraged to apply) Two (2) or more years of leadership experience preferred, but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience $10,000 Sign-On Bonus $5,000 paid upon the start of employment $5,000 paid upon the one-year employment anniversary Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Professional growth and leadership opportunities Collaborative physician-owned practice with a supportive team environment
