Requirements Unrestricted ARNP license to practice in Iowa required Unrestricted DEA license in Iowa required Must have current board certification by a national certifying body as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Candidates with SUD background will be given priority. Must be willing to see adults with Substance Abuse Disorders. Eligible for paneling on all major insurance plans and to participate in Medicare Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness are required Must be comfortable with across-the-lifespan cases Experience with interventions such as TMS and Esketamine/Spravato would be favorably considered, but not required, as on-site training is available Check out our incredible benefits: Hassle-free environment – We take care of submitting claims and deal with the insurance companies for you! Your day-to-day: Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations to include intake assessments as well as follow-up assessments. Provide outpatient interventional psychiatric services, including MAT, and Esketamine/Spravato, as indicated. Create, communicate, and carry out treatment plans with the patient and the patient's families Prescribe medications when necessary Communicate with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment plan Make referrals to specialists as appropriate Timely completion of clinical documentation Other duties as assigned Office hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (one day a week will be 10am-7pm)
