Description

Greater Boston Addiction Center (GBAC) is a progressive drug rehab/behavioral health program located in Needham, MA. About 30 minutes west of downtown Boston, our treatment programs offer hope, resources, and counseling to people who are struggling with addiction and mental health.
GBAC is seeking a PMHNP - BC to provide high quality mental health care. We are looking to hire a PMHNP three days a week, eight hours a day at $100 per hour. This position is contracted (1099)
You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with psychiatric disorders while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of physiology related to mental health conditions.
  • Experience in medication administration and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with discharge planning processes.
  • Proficient in managing medical records, particularly within the Epic system.
  • Understanding of toddler care as it relates to mental health needs.
  • Knowledge of infectious disease care principles is a plus.

Candidates should have a valid Nurse Practitioner license and relevant certifications in psychiatric nursing. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is essential for success in this role.
