JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a Part-Time role. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in behavioral health will be crucial in delivering high-quality care to individuals of all ages. In this role you might also have the opportunity to serve as the lead prescribing provider and Clinical Director for our outpatient behavioral health program, while working collaboratively with a therapy team, depending on your experience.

EDUCATION & LICENSURE

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado with prescribing authority.
  • DEA registration (or eligible).

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience in behavioral health/psychiatric settings (outpatient preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, psychiatric diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments.
  • Experience working with diverse populations (adults, children, seniors, and individuals with co-occurring or developmental conditions).

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding for accurate documentation and billing.

OTHER SKILLS (PREFERRED)

  • Telehealth service delivery experience.
  • Background in case management or integrated care models.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.

    Pay: $47.15 - $56.78 per hour
    Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
