JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health care to patients in a private practice setting. You will be serving patients by diagnosing and treating mental health disorders and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active California NP license & 103 NP designation from the BRN
• Able to see patients in-person

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Provide medication management, including administration of psychotropic medications and monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
• Educate patients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Stay current with best practices in psychiatric care through ongoing education and training.
