Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)  🕒 Full-Time | Exempt | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Schedule may vary based on clinic and patient needs)    💙 About the Role  PanCare of Florida is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care within our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). In this role, you will serve a diverse and underserved patient population, delivering comprehensive mental health services that support both short-term stabilization and long-term wellness.  As a key member of our integrated care model, you will conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, develop and manage treatment plans, and collaborate closely with primary care providers, behavioral health professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated, holistic care. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by expanding access to mental health services in the communities we serve.    What You’ll Do  In this role, you will:  * Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments * Diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans * Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications to ensure safe and effective treatment * Provide psychotherapy and counseling services as clinically appropriate * Collaborate with primary care providers, behavioral health staff, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams * Coordinate referrals to specialty services and community resources as needed * Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies * Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) * Ensure compliance with HIPAA, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies * Participate in outreach initiatives, community education, and mental health awareness programs * Support quality improvement initiatives and integrated behavioral health efforts   Education & Experience  * Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) focus * Active, unrestricted Florida PMHNP license * National PMHNP certification (ANCC)required * Previous experience in psychiatric or behavioral health care preferred * Experience in community-based, integrated care, or FQHC settings strongly preferred * Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills * Commitment to patient-centered, culturally competent care    
Responsibilities
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
