Job Title: Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – Cambridge MA

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and experienced APP to join our Cambridge center. In this in-person role, you will act as the Lead Clinician on-site. You’ll support clients undergoing ketamine and esketamine treatments, oversee day-to-day clinical operations, and provide supervision to a multidisciplinary team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or PA license with psychiatric experience
  • Current certification and unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA registration for controlled substances
  • Significant psychiatric experience, including familiarity with personality disorders
  • Prior experience in clinical leadership or team-based environments
  • Comfort discussing psychedelic treatments and related frameworks
  • Excellent clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Experience with ketamine or esketamine a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in EMR and virtual care platforms

Responsibilities

ONSITE DUTIES:

  • Manage daily clinical flow and team coordination
  • Assign patients to clinicians and support staff
  • Make clinical decisions regarding medical concerns (e.g., nausea, hypertension)
  • Determine PRN medication needs and ketamine dosing in collaboration with the medical team
  • Administer intramuscular injections and observe esketamine treatments
  • Liaise with the Office Manager to ensure safe staffing and operations
  • Foster a collegial, warm, and supportive clinical environment
  • Support real-time decisions around patient care plans
