PCM provides comprehensive medical, mental health, & dental care services to over 80 county jails, prisons, and juvenile detention centers throughout the states of PA, MD, FL, NY, OH & NH. Correctional health care is a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for today’s medical professional in that it provides the ability to truly utilize all of your learned medical skills and knowledge on a daily basis. It is the perfect hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine; providing care to an under-served, diverse, and truly appreciative patient population. We are currently looking for a Part-Time, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide on-site medical care at the Rockingham County Department of Corrections in Brentwood, NH and Hillsborough County Department of Corrections in Manchester, NH. This part time position requires 24 hours per week position, Monday’s – Friday’s normal business hours (7a-3:30p/8a-4:30p). Three day a week schedule will be split between the two facilities. Some important key points: Hourly rate range is offered for each shift with shift differential. Varies for weekends shifts also. $60.00 -$80.00 per hour Company-paid liability insurance (including tail coverage) provided. Unlimited company-paid CME technology provided, and more. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner. Board Certified Must have two or more years' experience as a PMHNP. Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New Hampshire. Maintain current DEA license. Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification. Maintain current Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
Provide on-site psychiatric and mental health medical care to patients within county jails and detention centers. The role involves managing a diverse, under-served population across two different correctional facilities.
