We are seeking a full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and clinical consultaion across both the OASAS 820 residential programs and the OASAS 822 outpatient program.  Working in close collaboration with the Medical Director and multidisciplinary teams, the PMHNP supports integrated trauma-informed care for adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health needs.   RESPONSIBILITIES * Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including history and mental status examinations, for residential and outpatient clients * Diagnose psychiatric conditions and establish individualized treatment plans * Provide ongoing psychopharmacological treatment and medication management, including MAT (e.g., buprenorphine, naltrexone) where appropriate * Order and interpret labs, diagnostic tests, and external medical consults. Medication & Clinical Care * Provide and/or oversee administration of long‑acting injectable medications as appropriate * Monitor medication efficacy, adherence, and side effects * Provide crisis assessment and intervention for clients in both residential and outpatient settings Collaboration & Team Support * Collaborate with residential and outpatient treatment teams to support integrated care * Provide clinical psychiatric consultation to program staff * Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, interdisciplinary rounds, and quality-improvement initiatives. Documentation & Compliance * Complete accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). * Consult the NYS Prescription Monitoring Program (IStop) when prescribing controlled substances. * Participate in required training, meetings, and compliance activities.  Additional Responsibilities * Provide psychoeducation to clients regarding diagnoses, medications, and health-promoting behaviors * Contribute to program development and clinical best practices across both levels of care * Perform other duties as assigned by the Medical Director.
