Description PrimeCare Medical Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Registered Nurse (RN) to work as the Psychiatric Nurse in the Medical Department at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility located in Eagleville, PA. This is a full-time posiiton working Monday-Friday, either 6:00am-2:30pm or 12:00pm-8:00pm. Hourly rate: $45.00/hr with an additional $8.00/hr from 2:00pm-8:00pm. Job Responsibilities: The Psychiatric Nurse is responsible for the clinical monitoring, coordinating, and implementing of the mental health program in accordance with NCCHC/ACA Standards and PCM policies and procedures. Other responsibilities will include: Serve as the PCM mental health liaison between the medical unit, facility staff, and psychiatric/psychological services outside the facility. Facilitates admission and placement of inmates/patients in forensic and community Mental Health facilities. Monitors all psychiatric/psychological services provided. Monitor the standards of care in accordance with NCCHC and accepted psychiatric/ psychological standards. Is a member of the Quality Assurance Committee. Develops and conducts in-service education programs according to annual in-service calendar.
