Description We are looking for a Psychiatric Physician Assistant to become part of the Denver Wellness team! Job Duties: Assess, diagnose, manage and treat patients Write prescriptions and provide patient education on: prescriptions, ketamine/spravato, TMS, and psychotherapy Coordinate treatment among other medical specialists and therapists Communicate with patients, physicians, and other members of the care team Participate in continuing education for continuing certification processes for licensure requirements Performs counseling within the scope of clinical practice Obtaining and maintaining prescriptive authority per Colorado State Board Medical Examiner regulations Establishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with other health care providers as appropriate Requirements Reporting to: PAs report to lead provider per location and Clinical Director Qualifications: Licensed to practice in Colorado or eligible for state licensure DEA license Graduation from an accredited educational program and successful completion of certification All certifications and licenses required must be kept current as a condition of continued employment Demonstrates positive behavior, attitude, and commitment as documented by supervising physician, patient satisfaction surveys, and feedback from other personnel Demonstrates positive teamwork, cooperative efforts, prompt and attentive service to patients and colleagues Maintains patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
