ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION Established in 1970, Boley Centers, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, Veterans and youth in Pinellas County. Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for a full-time Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist to provide structured activities, in a supportive and constructive environment, for consumers to help enhance social and living skills. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare curriculum and lesson plans for classes and group. * Organize and facilitate social activities for consumers. * Facilitate rehabilitation groups and provides one-one counseling. * Document daily progress notes and consumer participation in the Life Enhancement Activities Program (LEAP). * Complete SIPs and participate in CSP process. * Document census for billing purposes and track and monitor token economy. * Facilitate recovery practices, individual and group. * Participate in discharge planning, staffing and interdisciplinary team meetings. * Provide crisis intervention as needed, coverage during lunch periods, and drives vans to transport consumers EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's Degree in a human services field required. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university. * At least one year of human services experience with knowledge of mental illness, facilitating and leading groups and crisis management preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Valid Florida driver's license required. Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.
