JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our mental health team as a contractual, fee for service contractor. This position is three days a week, 15-18 hours total per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various mental health conditions. This role involves working with substance abuse clients with dual diagnosis. The Psychiatrist will also have the opportunity to engage in telehealth services, expanding access to care for patients.

EXPERIENCE

  • Board certification in Psychiatry is required.
  • Experience working with substance abuse/dual diagnosis is preferred.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology is a plus.
  • Experience in providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques and mental health counseling is essential.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment and behavioral health interventions are necessary.
  • Previous experience in data collection related to patient care outcomes is beneficial.

  • Engage in telehealth services to reach patients who may have barriers to in-person visits.
