Description Professional Care Medical Practice PC, has been in operation since 1986. We’re a privately owned, physician founded, nationally accredited correctional healthcare practice. Professional Care provides comprehensive medical & mental health care services throughout the state of New York. Correctional medicine is a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for today’s mental health professional in that it provides the ability to truly utilize all of your learned skills and knowledge on a daily basis. Correctional health care is the perfect hybrid of Outpatient and Inpatient Psychiatry, serving an often underserved and extremely diverse patient population. We are currently looking for a full-time Psychiatrist to share time weekly working tele-psychiatry services with our mental health teams at county level correctional facilities throughout New York State. This is a 40.0 hour per week position worked Monday - Friday normal business hours. To quickly summary some key points: Annual salary compensation is negotiable and commensurate based on experience, rate range: $320,000.00 - $360,000.00 Single/Family health care offered (i.e., medical / prescription / dental / vision). Company-paid life insurance provided. Elective life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability benefits offered. Retirement benefits offered (i.e., 401k with discretionary company match). Company-paid malpractice liability insurance (including tail coverage) provided. Paid time off will accrue for a maximum accrual of fifteen (15) days (or 120 hours) per year. In addition, you will also receive six (6) floating holidays, pro-rated within your first year of employment as dictated by your effective hire date. You are also eligible to accrue “sick and safe” leave benefits under the New York State Sick Leave Law (i.e., NYSSL). NYSSL accrues at a rate of one (1) hour for every thirty (30) hours of straight time worked, for a maximum annual accrual of fifty-six (56) hours. Annual licensure reimbursement provided. Unlimited company-paid CME technology provided, and more. Requirements Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine, specialty in Psychiatry. Board Certified or Board Eligible. Licensed to practice Psychiatry within the State of New York. Maintain current DEA Maintain current Driver’s License.
