Description
Susquehanna Physician Services seeks Psychiatrists (Multiple Openings) in Williamsport, PA to provide comprehensive medical services in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental illness, emotional disorders, substance abuse, and other psychiatric conditions. Elicit and record information about patients’ medical history. Examine patients to determine general physical and mental condition. Provide consultation and support in the management of patients with mental health concerns. Order and execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic procedures to provide information on patients’ conditions. Document information in medical record, as required by policies, and analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations. Administer and prescribe treatments and drugs. Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners for specialized treatment. Determine individualized discharge planning for patients. Develop positive rapport with patients and families to foster the physician/patient relationship. Clinically supervise two APPs, no administrative supervision.
