Description GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION: A Psychological Associate or Licensed Psychologist at Tatum Psychology Employment Group is dedicated to conducting comprehensive psychodiagnostics assessments that inform accurate diagnoses, individualized treatment planning, and coordinated patient care. The Psychological Associate/Licensed Psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, provide clear and compassionate assessment feedback, and uphold the highest ethical and professional standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Psychological Assessment & Evaluation Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychodiagnostics assessments. Conduct intake assessments, risk assessments, and diagnostic interviews as needed. 2. Reporting & Documentation Provide detailed, clinically sound reports that inform treatment planning and care coordination. Deliver assessment feedback in a clear, compassionate, and professional manner. 3. Collaboration & Care Coordination Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team. 4. Professional Standards & Ethics Adhere to ethical guidelines, testing standards, and best practices in the field. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS: Performs other duties as may be assigned. Follows and supports TPEG policies and procedures. Works collaboratively and cooperatively with internal and external partners. Represents TPEG, Inc., by embodying the mission, vision and values of the organization. Travels occasionally during the workday and on occasional overnight stay. (Compensation for mileage, food and lodging provided.) Maintains regular attendance at work and company activities and demonstrates punctuality regarding deadlines. Displays creativity and vision in recommending new tactics and strategies. Expands and updates job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional learning. Employees who hold this position may be asked to perform other duties as assigned. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. EDUCATION: Completion of a Doctoral Degree (PhD/PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program. 2. LICENSURE: For Psychological Associates – Current Registration as a Psychological Associate with the California Board of Psychology. For Licensed Psychologists – Current California Psychologist license in good standing. 3. RELATED EXPERIENCE: Experience conducting psychodiagnostics assessments in clinical settings. 4. OTHER EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED: One (1) year of experience in behavioral health or related field. Experience working with culturally diverse individuals and communities or have otherwise demonstrated a commitment to strengthening engagement of a diverse community and skill in communicating with diverse populations. Familiarity with equity and/or diversity initiatives within an organization. Written and oral communication skills sufficient to perform essential functions. Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently and use initiative to accomplish complex assignments with general instruction and guidance. Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and integrity on the job with confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy. Demonstrated ability to organize time and other resources to perform multiple tasks. Demonstrated ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to provide effective team leadership. Proficiency in word processing and database and/or spreadsheet applications. Physical and mental attributes sufficient to perform essential functions. Demonstrated ability to recognize merit, excellence and intelligence in staff and potential employees. Valid Driver's License PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with a variety of cognitive, emotional, personality, and neuropsychological measures. Experience with forensic testing. Proficient in English Language Proficient communicator WORKING CONDITIONS: Work settings vary from offices, program sites, and stakeholder locations Travel modes can include the use of company or personal transportation
