Your Role

AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY GROUP PRACTITIONER, YOU WILL:

Deliver group interventions through DTC and DBT services.
Work closely with clinical staff and lived experience colleagues.
Train and mentor clinicians, sharing expertise.
Promote and develop services to enhance care quality.
What We’re Looking For

Responsibilities
  • To work within a highly specialist psychotherapeutic multi-disciplinary team, including service user consultants (SUC’s), providing group psychotherapeutic interventions to people with a Personality Disorder, and staff and agencies who work with them.
  • To carry responsibility for the integrity of the application of therapeutic principles within the Democratic Therapeutic Community and the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Services.
  • To liaise with care coordinators and staff working with service users, to enable appropriate application, manage ongoing therapeutic interventions including crisis management, plan discharge and preparing reports as required.
  • To undertake consultancy and supervision to teams and organisations working with people with personality disorder.
  • To participate in group clinical supervision and individual supervision as required
