We’re seeking a passionate, collaborative clinician to take on a dual role as a Provisional Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner, providing high-quality, person-centered support for people with disability across the Wollongong region.

Responsibilities

YOUR IMPACT & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver evidence-based psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and behaviour support aligned with NDIS goals
  • Provide direct services to children, young people, and adults with disability in homes, clinics, schools, and community settings
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to create coordinated, client-centered care plans
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation including reports, support plans, and intervention summaries

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Provisional or Registered Psychologist AHPRA registration or eligibility to obtain
  • NDIS endorsement as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core level minimum)
  • Experience working with people with disabilities and/or complex behavioural needs (clinical placements, internships, or paid roles)
  • Cultural awareness and/or experience working with First Nations clients and communities, with a commitment to respectful, culturally safe practice
  • Required industry checks (NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, Police Check)
  • Full unrestricted Australian working rights and a valid driver’s license
