The University of Delaware is seeking a Psychologist I in Newark, DE to instruct and advise trainees at the University’s Center for Counseling and Student Development (CCSD) under the direction of the Associate Director of Clinical Services. Provides individual and group counseling, psychotherapy and crisis management to students. Provides consultation to and teaching on student mental health topics to faculty and other professionals. Maintain documentation and electronic medical records; contribute to student development programming and training program; and connect with campus colleagues and student organizations to develop relationships and programming. May supervise 2-4 trainees that include doctoral interns, registered psychologist assistant or mental health clinician assistant. This position requires a Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology; completion of 1-year supervised APA-accredited internship training program; and DE license/eligibility. Must be available for night and weekend coverage. Up to 5% remote work available at employer discretion and must live within commuting distance of Newark, DE.
Responsibilities
