Using an evidence-based practice approach, the incumbent receives and processes referrals, screen/triage cases, coordinate and contribute to assessment/diagnosis of ASD, facilitate development of individualized program plans/monitor progress, and facilitate and enhance coordination of treatment services/programs for ASD children and youth. The incumbent provides clinical supervision to Child & Youth staff and is an expert consultant to parents, professionals, educators/service providers. The incumbent works within the practice principles of the MHAS' program management model and the Framework and Action Plan for Autism Spectrum Disorders Services in SK.
