Description

NEURODIVERSE PLAYHOUSE – NEURODIVERSE THERAPY REDEFINED

We are an inclusive, child-focused environment dedicated to supporting children’s development, emotional wellbeing, and neurodiverse needs. We are seeking a compassionate and creative Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering child-led, play-based interventions that empower children to learn, explore, and grow at their own pace.
About the Role
You will work closely with children, families, and our allied health team to provide assessment, therapy, and support in a play-based, child-centered setting. Your role will focus on helping children build emotional regulation, social skills, executive functioning, and confidence — all through approaches that respect their interests, curiosity, and neurodiverse needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualised care plans.
  • Deliver therapy that is child-led, play-based, and developmentally appropriate.
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals (OTs, exercise physiologists, speech pathologists) to provide holistic care.
  • Support families with practical strategies and guidance to help children thrive at home and school.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of programs and resources aligned with our neurodiverse therapy redefined philosophy.

About You

  • Registered Psychologist
  • Experience working with children and families, preferably in neurodevelopmental or allied health settings.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based, play-based approaches for neurodiverse children.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passionate about supporting children to thrive through child-led, playful, neurodiverse therapy.

Benefits

  • Work in a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Opportunity to make a real impact on children’s lives in a play-based, inclusive environment.
  • Access to ongoing professional development and training.

If you are a dedicated psychologist who values child-led, play-based practice and wants to be part of a team redefining neurodiverse therapy, we’d love to hear from you.
