The Opportunity We are seeking a passionate registered mental health professional to join our award‑winning Wellness Support Team (WST). In this role, you will support clients and their whānau enrolled in our GP clinics, providing brief psychological interventions in both GP and community settings. You will also have opportunities to facilitate evidence‑based group programmes. This is a part‑time position (32 hours per week / 0.8FTE) based in North Shore and West Auckland GP clinics. You’ll be part of a warm, collaborative team of therapists, Health Improvement Practitioners, Health Coaches, and other WST colleagues.  We warmly welcome applications from new graduates. Experience working with children and adolescents will be an advantage. Recognised with the Best Mental Health Programme award at the 2021 New Zealand Primary Healthcare Awards, the WST delivers holistic care for people of all ages and whānau. The Wellness Support Team supports Tāmaki Health's General Practice teams to better meet patient wellbeing needs via a multi-faceted programme, including providing evidence-based psychological interventions integrated within primary care. From individual to group interventions, the diverse multidisciplinary team - including psychologists, therapists, Health Improvement Practitioners, Health Coaches, GPs with advanced training in mental health, administrative support, and group facilitators – provides a rich suite of services in GP clinics and the community.
