In addition, may provide support with the adult inpatient mental health services. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Human Resources Exemption: No Education * PhD in Clinical Psychology Knowledge and Abilities * Skill in mentoring, training, clinically supervising students and related disc. * Ability to develop & maintain consulting relationships in multidisciplinary team * Provide public education regarding child and adolescent mental health concerns * Extensive knowledge of normal child and adolescent development and psychopathology.  * Extensive knowledge of family systems, and models for therapeutic intervention strategies appropriate to the treatment of child, adolescent, young adult mental health diagnoses and family problems.  * Knowledge of interventions empirically validated or supported by best practice literature.  * Significant experience in providing therapeutic intervention strategies appropriate to the treatment of children's/adolescents' mental health concerns and other family problems and demonstrated skill in conducting group and family treatment.  * Knowledge of and experience utilizing standardized psychometric instruments and a wide range of measures typically used with children and adolescent.  * Knowledge of assessment and intervention issues and approaches appropriate to specific populations.  * Demonstrated skills in mentoring, training and supervising psychologists and psychology students and related disciplines.  * Ability to develop and maintain consulting relationships within a multidisciplinary team, interagency programs and across the community of human services.  * Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and independently to manage complex and multiple demands.  * Demonstrated skill in providing public education and in-service training related to the mental health of children, youth and their families.  * Demonstrated ability in the area of research and resource development.  * Ability to cope with stress. Sound written and oral communication skills.
