JOB DESCRIPTION: CHARTERED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

PPCS is an independent Clinic and registered provider with the Care
Quality Commission (CQC) for assessment and treatment in psychiatry, psychology and allied disciplines.
We are pleased to advertise that we have opportunities for experienced and motivated Chartered Psychologists to join our team of 26+ clinicians.

Responsibilities

This is a sessional role:
o To provide assessment, formulation and intervention to clients and provide professional recommendations and risk informed decisions.
o To offer therapy as well as leadership, supervision, training and highly specialist clinical skills within PPCS.
o To provide, when required, professional/managerial and clinical advice to other colleagues in PPCS.
o To lead with other senior colleagues in the continuing development of a high quality service.
o To lead and assist on service development and policy in conjunction with the Director of Psychology and other Psychologists in PPCS.
o To work with the clinical leadership team to ensure that the PPCS psychological services team is current, evidence based and in line with the standards of governing accreditation bodies. This will also include monthly peer mentoring sessions
The role reports to the Director of Psychology.
Pay rate equates to £87,750 per annum based on full-time hours. This will be pro rated according to hours worked.
Required
o All applicants must have a minimum of two years’ post qualification experience
o All applicants must hold appropriate professional accreditation (e.g. HCPC) and provide all supporting relevant certificates and qualification documents.

o Updated DBS/Right to Work in UK (Passport/Birth Certificate)
